Women Bring Life into Balance with Coaching

Women multi-task – it’s said that we’re able to. Women take responsibility for everything and everyone. Women think they can do everything and feel ‘less than’ when they don’t or can’t. Women burn out. Sound familiar? Helping others is our nature – we seem to be hard-wired for it. Taking responsibility for ourselves and our families is second nature. Often our families expect it of us and we expect it of ourselves.

If you run a family and run a business, chances are you sometimes run on overload or overwhelm, especially during busy times of the year or a busy business season. What would it feel like to run your business and your life in such a way that you felt more productive and full of possibility?

Especially if you’ve never experienced it before, you might be (very) pleasantly surprised how the support of a business coach can make that a reality. There is a new generation coaching techniques and technologies that can enable you to get more satisfaction in all areas of your life and earn more money too.

Bringing your life into balance is not an easy task and I don’t take this lightly. Balance is critical however, because whether or not this seems obvious to you – you will be more fully productive when your batteries are charged, you’ve had enough rest and you’re thinking clearly.

If you’re saying: yeah right, sure I know that, but I CAN’T – if you’re screaming that from your very pores, you need coaching help more than you know!

It’s hard, perhaps impossible, to know what’s realistic for your life and business – especially when you’re under stress. We are sometimes as neglectful of taking care of ourselves as we are good at taking care of others. Yes, self-care is important, (click here for some simple self-care ideas) but that’s not what I’m talking about here.

What I’m suggesting is even more basic: respecting yourself and your business enough to put the time into planning, visualizing and considering new possibilities. I know you’re busy, but always being at it and never taking the time to stop and look at the bigger picture actually hurts you. It can result in less money and less time.

Women often rebel at this point and say they just can’ – feeling like it’s all you can do to just keep things going day-to-day. Anything else seems like a luxury you can’t afford – stopping, taking time, reflecting – it just doesn’t seem realistic or possible.

What if I were to tell you – and you were to believe (!) – that by taking the time to really examine your business, align your priorities you could understand what’s costing you time and what’s costing you money. From there, you can create a strategic plan for working less and earning more – that you could radically shift your life.

It’s possible, but it requires commitment to the process and having a business coach makes it smooth, seamless and less time consuming than trying to figure it out on your own. A good business coach is several steps ahead of you and guides you to exactly where you need to be to get more out of your business and your personal life. You coach helps you stay on track to where you define (together) you need to go. It might sound extravagant to you. Perhaps you’re thinking you can’t afford the time or the money.

Investing in ourselves can be a mental block we need to get around, particularly when finances are tight. That’s usually the time that change is most critical and you’re most likely to have the biggest breakthroughs. It’s certainly the time you most need a change and a boost in income.

Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it can be hugely rewarding – even fun – and you’re worth it!
