Colour Light Therapy also know as Chromotherapy seeks to rebalance the body by using different colors of light to impact the production and regulation of neurohormones. By targeting the root causes of neurohormonal imbalances, chromotherapy may offer relief from symptoms and enhance overall mental well being.

Our bodies operate on a natural biological clock, known as the circadian rhythm, which governs our sleep patterns and other vital bodily functions. This internal clock is situated in a specialized cluster of brain cells called the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) located in the front part of the hypothalamus.

Disruptions to our circadian rhythm can lead to neurohormonal imbalances, resulting in various mental health issues like sleep disturbances, depression, seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Studies indicate that these conditions often involve significant changes in melatonin and serotonin levels.
