Uncertainty – Aligning Yourself with Ease

Aligning with Ease

Uncertainty vs. Confidence – This comes up frequently when we want to change the current paradigm. When we want to be in charge, certainty appears.

By keeping everything under control, we try to avoid the uncertainty. As a result, it is our responsibility to reduce uncertainty for ourselves and those with whom we collaborate. Its purpose is to reduce the unknown. Otherwise, our need to hold on to and control outcomes has the exact opposite effect.

What you do every day, every moment, changes the foundation on which you stand.

You are living in a new paradigm, with many changes happening quickly and furiously, often going unnoticed.

A new paradigm

When do you ever question the way things are done – for example, when there is a disagreement or an argument, is your reaction often automatic? Do you renege and go back to what you know as practical and safe when you speak to someone in business about your work or becoming a force to change the world and get paid to do it? Do you want to be your truth if you argue for something you know is bad? Defending the ‘norm.’

Even if it is uncomfortable, we believe that when we argue, we are arguing for our own limitations – becoming entrapped in a cycle of resistance to change.

Just one major stumbling block keeping us stuck in the old paradigm!

Try this:

·        In what aspects of your life do you require certainty?

·        Where do you feel most out of your element?

·        What does it feel like to take a quantum leap in your career?

·        How much money are you willing to put into yourself?

·        When does the amount of money you’ve invested in yourself become unsettling?

·        When is it not acceptable to be upset?

·        Do you ever have the feeling that it isn’t working the way you want it to?

·        Do you have feelings of unworthiness, or do you believe you must fit in to be accepted?

·        It is perfectly safe to…

·        It is possible…

·        Will I be able to keep my identity if…?

·        I grant myself permission to…

Transform form uncertainty to confidence

Uncertainty will always exist, but it is your responsibility to transform the current paradigm through acceptance in order to calm the raging storm. Yes, you want to reduce the unknown, and the only way to do so is to connect with the part of you that enjoys chaos rather than the part that resists it.

Make uncommitted time in your schedule to deal with the unexpected.

Make time for yourself and commit to it.

Building a nourishing relationship that enjoys change and uncertainty is easier on your ego.

If you can grasp that part, you will be able to bring more wisdom and knowledge into your life.

When you know yourself and accept your place in your world, field, and life, you know you are good enough to stand out and create the certainty you require with ease.
